The Boatshed
The Boatshed was a dilapidated old boat store, with space for one small sailing boat. YL were commissioned to replace the existing boat store to house two boats, as well as adding a small kitchen/living room and bathroom for weekend visitors. The aesthetic needed to blend into its surroundings, which was the perfect opportunity to use our cedar shingle cladding design.
YL used as many reclaimed items as feasibly possible for the project including roof tiles, finials and floorboards.
